OUR STORY: THE MEANING OF DUHĀ

In the quiet hours before dawn, when darkness feels endless, the first rays of morning light break through. This is duhā—the radiant morning light that dispels shadows and brings hope.

Our brand takes its name and inspiration from Surah Ad-Duha (Chapter 93 of the Quran), a revelation that came to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) during a period of silence and uncertainty. After days without divine communication, this surah arrived as divine reassurance—a promise that morning always follows night, and that ease comes after hardship.

The opening verses read:

‍ ‍"By the morning brightness, and by the night when it covers with darkness.

Your Lord has not taken leave of you, nor has He detested you."

— Surah Ad-Duha, 93:1-3

These words speak to anyone who has faced their own night—moments of doubt, struggle, or waiting. They remind us that difficulty is temporary, that we are never forgotten, and that light will return.
